What do you think of when you think of the Miss Universe pageant? For me, it’s elaborate outfits, beautiful women from all over, shoes, make up madness and big, long bouncy hair. Imagine my surprise when I came across this picture of Flavania Matata, then Miss Tanzania, representing her country sans hair. It takes a beautiful face and flawless skin like hers to not just pull off but look fabulous with zero hair. She did it superbly. I’m not sure what she’d look like with hair but why mess with perfection?
